"Deliverence"

We all fall subject to sin. We all will find ourselves in times and places that we know will look back on and regret. We will think to ourselves, " Why was I so week? Why couldn't I just say no, or just not go there in the first place? "

Most of us don't go looking for sin and struggles in our lives. There is a God in Heaven, and because there is a God in Heaven there is also opposition to the love and goodness that he offers. Satan is very real. He is not a childish antagonist. He is not a second rate hustler or con-artist. He is the best at what he does, and he has had pleanty of experience over time to become that way. We read in 2 Nephi 2:27 of the Book of Mormon that the Devil "...seeketh that all men might be hmiserable like unto himself."

Just as described by an Apostle of the Lord, Satan is a master at what he does.

The good news is just as Elder Ballard says, " I testify to you that your body, mind, and spirit can be transformed, cleansed, and made whole, and you will be freed. " This is possible only in and through our Savior Jesus Christ. There are many people who have already experienced this great blessing. It is available for all to partake in. Examples can be found anywhere, if you're willing to look.

"And for those of you who have fallen prey to any kind of addiction, there is hope because God loves all of His children and because the Atonement of the Lord Jesus Christ makes all things possible." - Elder M Russell Ballard.
